…still on my birth certificate. I know who I am. But my name has changed the definition of who I am. So you wonder what it would be like if you were called Juan? I can tell you from experience that it is life-changing. And I am glad that I didn’t choose a random name. My destiny was saved by a woman from a different culture than mine whose cultural gave relevance to a name. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. But it would not be a rose.
