Mailchimp Love: How To Get A Website Up and Running In Under Two Hours
If you haven’t read the prelude to this, make sure you read this first. In summary, I started a project to test the limits of the new Mailchimp website builder tool. The goal is to try to squeeze as much value out of the tool while spending little to zero dollars and using only tools and content that the average user would have available for free. In the next couple of steps, I’ll walk you through what you’ll need to do to create a website in under two hours.
Step 1: Set Up Your Domain
The very first thing you want to do is purchase a domain on the Mailchimp site. If you are reading this before the end of May 2020, then you are in luck. Make sure you get your domain for free. If you are reading this after May 2020, then you’ll want to purchase a domain. They are relatively cheap, but please note, everything outlined below can be done in Mailchimp without a domain.
