What the heck does that mean? If we want to prosper as a human species then we need to start adopting economic models and systems of thought that take into account our collective well and weigh those against economic externalities. I like to believe that we have evolved beyond wild creatures that are self motivated and interested only in mating and perpetuation of our species through our offspring. Perhaps thats not in our best interest. Perhaps we need to think differently about what it means to be successful, what it means to thrive as a human.
